Due to rising SMS costs, suspected spam, and a proliferation of free accounts, we have reduced the text quota on the Free plan from 5 texts per month to 1 text per month.
We believe that 1 text per month is sufficient for a Free account to validate that the feature works.

We’re a small club of Amateur Radio operators who get together on-air once a week to test our equipment in the event of a disaster in our area. If you would be so kind as to allow our short messages to be sent weekly, it would be greatly appreciated.
We have a small club and collect dues, but only to purchase more equipment for our community – none of us are paid for our service but we do it to support the emergency services in our area.

I have the free account for one reason: the calendar app on the flip phone that I purchased earlier this year usually fails. I use calendar events to remind me of doctor appointments, and occasionally to remind me to make a phone call while I’m at work. I use a loud and long notification sound, so I’m not failing to hear an alert. and the function always works if the scheduled event is on the same day as when I set it up. But if the event is tomorrow or next week or next month, it nearly always remains completely silent. So this is a workaround. I’ll have your service send me a text an hour or so early. Then, I’ll use the phone’s alarm function to remind me when I have to leave. I hope I never have to do this twice in a month, but if that need should arise, I guess I’ll have to set up a second account.
What about the recurring emails,
Free account only gets one sent out per month as well?
